Graham’s dream come true day!
Down a country laneway in a rural setting is a small and non descript
group of workshops which house Classic Team Lotus.
This is the original Team Lotus workshop.
The small team of mechanics rebuild. restore and repair
classic (old) Lotus racing cars.
Most of these are now privately owned and many still race in classic events.
Graham had organised this visit to the workshop from home.
They said there was no organised tour on the days we could be there
but to drop in and they would spare 15 minutes showing us around.
We ended up spending an hour with a very nice young lady named Sapphire
who was wise beyond her years on the subject of Lotus cars.
