Come fly with me.

You may remember that Graham was given a helicopter flight for his 50th Birthday.

And, I’ll remind you that it was pouring rain on the day of his big party, so his grand arrival was cancelled.

Well the good news is that we have finally had *lift off*,  and here are the best photos from the flight.

Above,  is the *Hero Shot*!

This is Dangars Falls, and to get an idea of the drop can you see the little viewing platform at the top of the falls, unfortunately no one is on it to add a little spot of interest to the photo.

To get a further idea of the size of this waterfall here is a photo that I took on New Years Day 2010 from that very viewing platform!

1st January 2010. View from the platform above Dangers Falls.

Above is the map of our route.

The hour long flight from Armidale airport was with Fleet Helicopters and was called the Flight of the six gorges.

Here are Graham and I at the airport before the flight.

I’m afraid that some of the photos have a glare and reflections on them as I was shooting through a window.

I get a bit confused about which part is which! So I may up date later once I identify some of the geography.

All the photos below are of Dangar's Falls-- I've always been fascinated about how the grazing land goes right to the edge of the gorges. Its great to see water going over the falls after so many dry years.
