'Leaving Carrisbrook Castle'

We booked this stay  months in advance through English Heritage.

I knew we were staying near Carrisbrook Castle,

but didn't realise we would be actually be inside the walls! 

They gave us the key to the gate so we could let ourselves in and out.

At night, we were the only ones there, apart from the donkeys and ghosts. 

So needless to say I have a lot of favourite photos and memories of Carrisbrook,

but there were a few other castles to share as well,

enjoy!
