Like all good walking tours it ended in a pub.
But this is a special pub.
The Eagle.
It was where they celebrated the discovery of DNA amongst other things.

Something we haven't done for a long time is get a hop on hop off bus. But we decided that it would save some walking in Cambridge,
But first this is the college where we are staying.
We got a senior discount on the bus...
It has a lots of the samples that Darwin collected on the Beagle.
Back on the bus,,,
This time to the Fitzwilliam Museum.

A very pretty room of still life.
Beautiful building. I won't bore you with more photos of great master paintings.
And the bus took us home nearly to the front door.
We actually feel like eating tonight!
So it was off for a pizza and (a too big) gelato around the corner at an Italian restaurant.
Short update.
Traveled by train to Cambridge.
We are staying in a cottage in the grounds of one of the colleges.
Dinner was still a struggle, tonight at the Punters pub which is just across the road from our cottage.
Still can't stomach chocolate which is a bit sad at Easter.
Last day in London and we visited the Tower of London.
We weren't planning to go to the crown jewels but there was no queue so we changed our mind.
Its changed since we were last there, much easier to see things.
When we came out the queue was a 'mile' long so we went at the right time.
Below:-This one is Poppy.
and this is Poppy being a bin chicken...
Then as we still had some time we hopped on a bus to Trafalgar Square.
