Tuesday 20th December - Milford sound

Hello, welcome to New Zealand. 

Finally arrived at Milford Sound after a couple of rough days at sea.

I'm a couple of days behind with my posts now as we have been busy, but I'll catch up when we have sea days again.

So tuesday we were up at dawn, 5am and the clocks had gone back (gone forward you twit Kim), an hour again overnight.

It was freezing.

 

After freezing on the deck we decided we could see as much from our balcony.

 

 

Then we went in a couple of the other Fjords as well.  Dusty and Doubtful Fjords, I think( ha ha).

While we were on deck the elves popped in and cleaned our very salt encrusted windows.

 

After all that I needed to warm up with a coffee based cocktail.

 

Dunedin tomorrow and we get to go on shore.

That is if the weather is okay for us to dock. Some of the passengers that have been on the longer trip missed out on Albany W.A. and Hobart as the weather was too rough to dock. They ended up in Eden   on the NSW south Coast instead of Hobart!
