Flories 4th Birthday heritage train ride

On Saturday the 10th June we went on a heritage train trip from Armidale to Uralla and back for Flories 4th Birthday.

The party guests filled the whole carriage.

They all got to blow the whistle which was just as exciting as using the toilet on the train.

The we all gathered at the Curtis park playground for a picnic.

And a Womens Weekly 'Duck' cake

National Heritage Motoring Day

Some photos to share from the Car Club run on the 21st May to celebrate Heritage Motoring Day.

Yes, we did visit Walcha Cemetery and it was FREEZING cold and windy. A most miserable day. Brrrrrrr.

The reason we were at the cemetery was to visit Nat Buchanan's grave.

Driven past the sign post on Thunderbolts way many times but never knew who he was.

Lots of Autumn leaves flying through the air.

A close up on a pretty road.

Then as it was so cold we ditched the plan of a picnic lunch in the park in Walcha and were allowed to use the fire station instead!

I had to be a bit creative with the below photo and used paint to remove the  fireies names from above their gear.

It was Bron's birthday so she had a surprise cake.
