YAY! Out of lockdown and we can visit family!

Hello! My Dear Readers!

Finally we have some freedom and can visit, Eadie, Florrie and Ruby.

And see the progress of the house extension.

Below is before.

And here it is now, four times the size.

Above is the view from the deck.

Florence and Edith are giving Ruby a pretend bath, washing her hair.

Favourite photos 2010 - 2020 Episode 15 - Historic Houses

I'm going to present this post a little differently My Dear Readers, with groupings of the same historic house/home with links to further information.

If any of the links don't work please let me know,  but then again you all have google!

First , we start at our home, before moving overseas.

Okay, you will notice during this post that I like to take photos of mirrors, often with my own reflection. But on this occasion cheeky Lyn was taking a sneaky photo of me taking a photo of myself!

This is Charles Darwin's home, with crazy kids who would ride a plank down the back staircase,

Royal Pavilion Brighton U.K. New Years Eve 2017

Absolutely beautiful and bonkers, but no indoor photography allowed.

Also, a miserable wet day.

I had to pinch photos off the net for my post.

Finally, my favourite house of this episode...

Osbourne House, Isle of Wright U.K.

January 2018

This was Queen Victoria and Prince Albert's get away house. Prince Albert is in my opinion the best King that Britain never had!

And so that, Dear Readers, is my final historic house and home for episode 15.

I hope to finish with these anniversary posts by the end of the year, but I still have some of the best to come, including, seascapes, trains, bridges, churches and the fantastic, interesting and unusual.

I am still pulling the episodes out of the jar so they are at random, but strangely episode 16 continues in the same vain as this post! See you next time when we are off to London to visit the Queen!
