Welcome back My Dear Readers.

I continue on...  boring you with the 10 year anniversary celebration of my blog! Although getting close to 12 years now its taken me so long to put this together.

Although I've named this episode Royal Palaces, some of them belonged to people with Royal connections. Again I have grouped them together and provided links if you wish to explore further.

Some Car Club Events

We have had a few trips out with the car club recently, in between the COVID lockdowns.

In October it was to visit the small town of Ben Lomond which is about 45 minutes drive north from us.
It was once was on the railway line that now stops at Armidale.

There is some talk of turning the old line into a rail trail for walkers and cyclists. But it seems to be a bit like vegemite, people either love the idea or hate it!

We were given a talk about the history of the town and the railway.

Its the highest station in Australia.

Then it was a BBQ lunch at the new fire shed.

Then in July it was a trip to Walcha to see Apsley Falls in flood.
