Today we left Florence for the trip to Venice.
This is our last day with the coach and driver as there are no roads where we are going.
On our way to Venice we stopped at Bologna for lunch.
We visited the markets and the old university.
Bologna claims to be the food capital of Italy.
We arrived in Venice in the late afternoon and left the bus behind at the car park.
They loaded our suitcases onto a boat and floated them up the canal to our hotel.
Woo Hoo! Here is the view from our window in Venice. We have a tiny little balcony.
