Snow to Sea


Yes, that is snow on the Snowy Mountains,
although it is 70km away in the distance.


The above photos are from the lookout at Mount Gladstone just outside of Cooma.

Below, couldn't resist a photo of the pretty bark and leaves on this snow gum.


We also stopped at Cooma for a coffee.

Below, is the avenue of flags that represents the diversity of workers who came to Australia to work on the Snowy Mountains Hydro-electric scheme.



For the next three nights we will be at Merimbula.
We will make this our base to explore the rest of the 'Sapphire Coast'


I think its called Sapphire due to the colour of the water.
