DAY ONE
Its time for our long awaited journey to the Western Plains Zoo at Dubbo.
We started off today at 7.30am on a cold and frosty morning, but they are predicting warmer weather in Dubbo.
We are travelling in the Lotus, so I needed to do some creative packing as its boot space is smaller
than the whole suitcase I took overseas last year, and no back seat!
About 10 cars are on this trip.
After a fairly uneventful trip, we stopped for lunch at Coolah.
We’ve stopped tonight at a motel in Dubbo (Tallarook motor inn) with dinner at the local pub.
Big day tomorrow, we are off to the Zoo!
