Paul McCartney Concert,,, YEY!

Hello My Dear Readers.

Graham and I saw Paul McCartney live in Newcastle!

It was fantastic!

We watched a brilliant  show of his last Glastonbury concert  and  thought how wonderful he was and how disappointingly we would never get to see him live. I thought he would be to old to travel to Australia again, But here you go... Bless him.

He is so agile for an 81 year old and he still has his voice. I guess he travel's with a personal trainer , voice coach and physio. (doctor, nurse, chef etc).

---

Most of these photos are mine, with a couple borrowed from the web.

We were 5 rows from the front, although the seats weren't as good as when we saw Elton.

We were at the far edge of the stage, and further back because of the fireworks.

Trafalgar Square London 2011

My favourite moment from the 2012 Olympics was when
Her Majesty the Queen with 007 James Bond (Daniel Craig)
who was her escort to the opening ceremony.
Very funny, very clever, Makes me laugh and cry!

And when all the crowd GASP when she turns around
and they realise that IT IS THE QUEEN.

You may notice that I've remembered nothing about sport at the 2012 Olympics!
Except, what a good sport the Queen was.

Love the Corgis!
Daniel is also nice to look at........

Please don't start me about the Spice Girls and thing with the London cabs.......

P.S. Remind me not to attempt anything so silly for the 20th Anniversary in January 2030

Car Club trip to Tamworth Powerstation Museum

Hello My Dear Readers.

Sharing some photos of a recent car club run to Tamworth.

We visited somewhere we had never been before and I didn't know existed.

The Tamworth Power Station Museum.

Tamworth was the first city in Australia to have electric street lights.

Lots of unusual sparkly and shiny things to take photos of.

Lots of "Do you remember when we had one of those"?"conversations

Lovely collection of all sorts of stuff!
